I was sitting on my porch at camp (working) and I heard voices, but could not figure out where they were coming from. I decided to take a break, and hit the lake to kayak, swim, and watch the eclipse for a bit.
When I launched the kayak, I was surprised to see nine kayaks, two canoes, and a bunch of people converged on my swim float. That is what I had heard from camp. Turns out, the float was the best spot to watch the eclipse from Loon Lake. I should have charged.
It was pretty awesome to watch. More so, sharing it with a bunch of people out here on the lake. I have never seen that many people out on Molasses Bay before.
