Cold and Snowy at Loon Lake

This latest storm event dropped about a foot of snow here at the lake. It actually looks like a lot more, because of the drifts caused by the high winds. The drafts are three to four feet high, at spots. Glad I got the snowblower back– it runs great. It is actually 17 years old; guess it was about time to get it serviced.

The snow should be here to stay, for a while. It is four degrees outside here now, Thursday night, with high winds. The temperature will vary between 10 above and 10 below over the next 3 days, without factoring in the wind chill. Supposed to be sunny as well. Shaping up to be a good weekend to be outdoors.
