Happened this week. We have gone from hot days to cool nights. Yesterday, it was 66 degrees in the morning. Today, it was 44 degrees. It was perfectly clear, and still, this morning. Orion is again visible, early in the morning, in the Eastern sky,
I hiked up Crusher Mountain, this morning, as I usually do on the days I work from camp. I noticed a difference however– it is getting lighter later now. Porter and I made the climb before sunrise, which we then watched from the summit, watching the sun hit the tops of the ridges around the lake, before light filled in the valleys. Not a bad way to start the day.
Looks like great Summer weather for the next couple of days. Looking forward to it.
