We arrived back at the lake last night, in the tail end of the storm. We have a new 12 – 14 inches of snow at the lake. The good stuff– not powdery, and not laden with water. Our road had not been cleared, and the Pilot literally plowed through the snow on the road. I am glad I can lock it into four wheel drive.
I am working from camp today. I just got back from a quick sled tour around the lake. I like to take the snowmobile on the roads in the early morning before they have been plowed. The trails have not been groomed– the snow depth is too great for my old sled. In fact, I had some trouble climbing the big hill on our road to camp.
Need to get the dogs settled before I start work.
