It has been snowing and blowing steadily here, in the Northern Adirondacks, all afternoon. We made pizza in the outdoor wood-fired pizza oven, and I think they were the best ever. Paula makes the dough, cooks the ingredients, and makes up the pies. I prepare the oven and cook the pizza. A team effort, with a great result.
We made three today: 1/2 Cheese and 1/2 pepperoni; the Lena: mushroom, olive and onion; and the Andy and Sons: sausage and peppers (we used to use sausage from Andy and Sons for this pie– but lately have been using our own homemade sweet Italian sausage).
