Saturday morning it was crystal clear and calm at the lake. The temperature was 29 degrees at 7 AM, and the area was covered with a widespread frost. I had to wear gloves while goose hunting (but first, I had to find them).
My son Jon and I pulled the swim float and sailboat for the season. The float is moored to shore for now. I have to get in the water, under the float, to release the anchor chain. I don’t like to leave this chore too long into the Fall– the water temperature drops quickly.
It is raining this morning, and likely will do so all day. Heading to see my new grand daughter. Grand baby number 6. Number 7 is due to arrive October 2. An eventful time of year.
